Rolling hills with mature trees - accuracy needed. 1st hole starts with a long water carry (or drop zone for the faint of heart - lake also in play on #2). Elevation, gullies, large trees and OB are some of the challenges. Designer; HB Clark.

The Obed Wild and Scenic River Visitor Center, located in downtown Wartburg, Tennessee.  

 
The Obed Wild and Scenic River sees a variety of weather patterns throughout each year. Spring and Winter are usually the best times to paddle on the river, as increased water levels during those seasons are common. Flooding can occur with several consecutive days of precipitation, however. Summers are generally hot and humid, resulting in lower water levels. Temperatures during the summer can often reach over 90 degrees. Winter water levels are generally navigable, and winter temperatures can drop below 30 degrees. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable clothing for each season and for possible extremes in temperature and climate.

Hiking
Hiking the trails along the Obed Wild and Scenic River is one of the most enjoyable activities that we have to offer. Several different trails with different lengths and scenery are available.

Rock Climbing
The Obed's sandstone rock faces provide a challenging opportunity for experienced climbers, with several hundred climbing routes spanning through much of the park. Boulder climbing is also available along the Obed.

Paddling
Canoeing, kayaking and rafting bring many people to the Obed. The river includes three different difficulty classifications (II-IV), making it one of the best whitewater rivers in the eastern United States.

Fishing
Fishing opportunities are plentiful at the Obed Wild and Scenic River. An assortment of smallmouth bass, bluegills, catfish, and muskie are but a few of the various fish that swim the river.

The Plateau PC Users Group, Inc. is a non-profit organization of computer users designed to assist residents of Crossville Tennessee and the surrounding area to become better acquainted with their computers. The organization provides a forum for discussions of computer activity and for the solving of computer/Internet related problems; and provides education and support to members.

  If you are cruising I-40 through Tennessee from Knoxville to Nashville when you reach the high point in either direction you are on the Cumberland Plateau. You will pass by the beautiful City of Crossville. The home of the Crossville Cruisers Car Club. We invite you to exit (317), it would be hard to find a lovlier place.
Our club was founded in June of 07. We are CAR NUTZ owning vehicles from the following Catagories:

Street Rod,  Street Machines, Customs, Classics, Muscle Cars, Antiques
Special Interest, Trucks or what ever other kind of vehicle you own.

We are a rugged group driving our cars almost year round. So if your passing by on a fall or winter Saturday afternoon from November 1, 2008 stop and visit us at the Woodmere Mall Rte 127 from 1pm-- 4pm. Or if you are passing by on a Thursday Night in the summer we are at the same location from 5:00PM Til ????.

 During the summer months (APRIL-OCTOBER) on the FOURTH Saturday of the month Downtown Crossville Inc. presents Cruise Downtown Crossville. MOST of Main St. in the Downtown and have a cruise in. Featured is live music with a DJ during band intermissions. There are plenty food vendors. Starting April 24, 2010 and go through October 23, 2010.
