Crossville Mayor J.H. Graham, III Announces Sustainability Workshop for Upper Cumberland residents and local government leaders*
The City of Crossville, Tennessee, and the University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) have partnered with the Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council (TREEDC) to organize a community wide sustainability forum on March 1, 2011 at the Art Circle Public Library, 3 East Street, Crossville, Tennessee 38555 from 9:00am to 12:30pm. MTAS and TREEDC Secretary /Crossville Mayor Graham have developed a comprehensive renewable energy educational agenda for area stakeholders.
Clean energy topics to be explored include the Crossville truckstop electrification project and the state wide electric vehicle infrastructure plan developed by ECOtality. The University of Tennessee President Emeritus Dr. Joe Johnson will provide the keynote address. Attendees will also hear presentations from local government sustainability coordinators representing Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Franklin, Nashville, Chattanooga and Athens,.
