The Cumberland Solar Energy Association is designed to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies here On The Plateau in Cumberland County Tennessee.  This group has been meeting for the past few years as and “energy task force” and decided to formally organize as a chapter of the American Solar Energy Association and the Tennessee Solar Energy Association.

CSEA 3rd Annual Crossville Solar Tour


On Saturday, Oct. 6th, 2012 the Cumberland Solar Energy Association is organizing tours of 5 homes and businesses in the greater Crossville area.

The tours also give a glimpse at how a variety of solar systems look in and around structures with different architectural styles.

Our 3rd annual tour will start with a short presentation and information exchange at the Tennessee Technology Center of Crossville (on Miller Ave), then attendants will be able to drive around on a guide tour to visit the local solar sites.

Crossville Flea Market

A flea market that's still a flea market.

I-40 Dragway

  Come on out for a family fun night like no other.  The I-40 Dragway, located in the middle of the golf capital of Tennessee.  Racing every Friday and Saturday night March through October.  An excellent central location for events of all types from Bracket Racing to Heads up run whatcha brung style outlaw racing. The  Bounty races are begining to attract national media coverage and some of the biggest names in the sport. 22 million people pass by our Dragstrip along I-40 Each year.  Stop in and check out the action.
