The Obed Watershed Community Association (OWCA), in conjunction with Veolia Water, NA is holding a rain barrel painting contest.
Sample rain barrel designs.
We are asking students in Cumberland County to create designs that can be painted on to a rain barrel. The top three designs will win cash prizes. For the top design, we will provide a primed barrel and paint so that the winner can paint his or her design on the barrel. The winning barrels will be auctioned at the Crossville Sustainability Fair in May.
The date for the Mayor's 2nd Annual Sustainability Fair is Thursday, April29 2010 at the Community Complex.
